Lucida Insight 2.0 leverages an enterprises current IT investment, as well as its extended enterprise value chain, to optimize business performance by delivering the right information to the right decision maker at the right time, and by serving as a proactive early warning system for opportunities and threats to the business.

New features in version 2.0 further extend the Lucida software model of ease of deployment, ease of learning, ease of use and maintenance. These new features include simple to use wizards for ease of installation, configuration, database connection, scheduling, and business action alerts. Users can also now create ad hoc reports and Excel spreadsheets-drawing from disparate data sources-all through an intuitive, easy-to-use query wizard. Finally, version 2.0 includes shared/public and private folder support, and the ability not just to download data, but also to upload data to the database at the same time.

Version 2.0 enhances the core Lucida Insight platform, which features real-time data updates in a Web-based Excel spreadsheet, allowing the user to pull data from across organizational and application boundaries to view just the information they need when they need it for critical business decision making.
